HVAC Technician
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital facilities and equipment. This role involves using a computerized maintenance management system to identify and resolve issues in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems. You will provide technical support and guidance to facility staff and participate in hospital and departmental safety programs and training.
Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized repair and maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to identify and resolve issues with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to facility staff in the operation and repair of equipment and utilities.
- Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs and training.
- Proficient in the use of computerized systems for job performance.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair skills for mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
- Capability to work effectively both unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in HVAC, facility maintenance, and building automation systems.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, plumbing, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers.
- Knowledge of pneumatic controls, DDC controls, and various electrical components.
- Experience in carpentry and general building maintenance tasks.

Work EnvironmentThe position is based within a hospital setting, working from 7 am to 4 pm. Expect to work weekends and holidays, and be available for overtime. Enjoy a dynamic environment where your skills contribute directly to maintaining critical healthcare facilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
