Installation Mechanic – Blue Mound, TX
Holman offers an opportunity for an Installation Mechanic within its upfitting division. The successful candidate will install aftermarket equipment on new vehicles in a Safety‑First environment.
Compensation & Benefits- Pay: $20 per hour
- Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday
- Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays and more
- Install new aftermarket equipment on new vehicles.
- Maintain a safety‑first work environment and meet quality standards.
- Test installed parts before final inspection.
- Use work orders to determine placement, orientation, and function of equipment.
- Communicate suggestions and issues to relevant departments for continuous improvement.
- 1‑3 years of electrical, mechanical, or equipment assembly experience, or current enrollment in an accredited technical school.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Understanding of electrical schematics and 12 V circuits.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Adherence to company standards, including SOPs, attendance, quality, teamwork, and performance.
- Must pass a physical exam, drug test, and criminal background check.
- Valid driver’s license.
