Facilities Maintenance Technician

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized maintenance and repair on hospital buildings, equipment, and properties.;
Identify, troubleshoot, and correct mechanical system issues, including pumps, belt-driven equipment, gear reduction drives, piping, and valves, and perform diagnosis and replacement as needed.;
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.;
Install, test, maintain, and diagnose electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, apparels, fixtures, components, and systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.;
Maintain and troubleshoot control systems, including sensors, limit switches, solenoids, motors, and related components.;
Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, utilities, and building systems.;
Perform general building and facilities maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, cooling towers, air handlers, lighting, pneumatics, carpentry, and other mechanical services.;
Conduct preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment to reduce downtime and extend asset life.;
Use computerized systems to document work orders, maintenance activities, and repair histories accurately and efficiently.;
Attend educational opportunities and related training to maintain and enhance technical knowledge and skills.;
Collaborate effectively with team members and other hospital departments to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.;
Work independently with minimal supervision to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.;
Support building automation systems and general maintenance of facility infrastructure.;
Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies during nights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
