Part-Time Electrician for Will Rogers Memorial Center Trail Drive Management Corporation Properties:Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC) is a not-for-profit venue management company in Fort Worth, Texas. TDMC manages all aspects of venue management, including but not limited to event booking, event management, marketing, IT, technical services, food & beverage, parking, security, housekeeping, changeover, maintenance, and more. Job Summary:Trail Drive Management Corp (TDMC) is looking for a Part-Time Electrician to support our Will Rogers Memorial Center operation. The Part-Time Electrician is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of electrical systems and related equipment throughout the facility. This position performs skilled electrical work, troubleshoots electrical issues, completes preventative maintenance, and provides technical support to supervisory personnel to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient facility operations.
This position will be 100% on-site.
Essential Job Functions:- The essential job function of the Part Time Electrician is to assist with the installation, striking and repairing of the Event Show Power Distribution Equipment, wiring and cabling. This would be for all event related electrical needs of Will Rogers Memorial Center.
- This position would also assist the Full Time Electricians as needed, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing and/or upgrading various Electrical Circuits, Equipment and Systems throughout the Arena and adjacent parking facilities, to ensure the dependable operation of our electrical systems
- Must have electrical skills and abilities that can easily perform repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance requests on various commercial electrical equipment that includes, but not limited to, switch gear systems, distribution and circuit breaker panels, company switches, event/show power equipment & cabling systems, electrically powered telescopic seating systems, interior & exterior building lighting systems, and other various electrical related systems and equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work on building equipment in confined spaces and in “high” areas of the buildings utilizing High Lift equipment, scaffolding, ladders, etc., while using the appropriate PPE gear. The high areas could include, but are not limited to roof areas, ceilings up to 65’ high and catwalks suspended 160’ from the arena floor
- Assist in properly maintaining and inventorying all electrical maintenance equipment, tools and supplies in a professional manner, and making sure all the electrical work areas are kept clean and organized, to promote a safe working environment.
- Must adhere to OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70 and other safety codes, as well as compliance and adherence to hazardous materials standards and codes with the goal of ensuring a consistently safe working environment.
- Minimum High School diploma or GED is required, with an Electrical Trade school diploma preferred.
- Prefer at least a Licensed Journeyman Electrician with the required two-year degree or certificate in electrical courses, or four years of intensive experience under the supervision of a master electrician.
- Must be knowledgeable with all applicable laws, electrical codes, ordinances, safety precautions, and emergency procedures related to facility management.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical repair, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems and electrical systems repairs
- E xperience and/or training in the public assembly facility management industry preferred.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, plumbing schematics, technical manuals, and specifications.
- Must possess a valid Texas driver's license.
- Keyboarding skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
