About the Job

Breda Company, Inc. is seeking experienced Rodbusters / Reinforcing Steel Tiers for TXDOT roadway and highway projects in the DFW area.

If you’re skilled in rebar work and want steady, well-paid construction work — we want to hear from you.

Please note a skills test will be given at time of application. All applicants must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day, and work in the heat. All applicants will need their own, reliable, transportation as jobsites change daily. 10+ hour days are common. Our office is located at 3661 N. Beach St. Fort Worth, TX 76137 and open daily from 8am-4:30pm.

What You’ll Do

• Place and tie reinforcing steel with pliers and tie wire
• Follow blueprints and layout instructions
• Measure and mark reinforcing steel
• Make templates and place chairs
• Secure rebar in place for paving and structural work

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 80 lbs
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, squatting, or standing
• Repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs
• Work on uneven or muddy surfaces, loose rock, or elevated areas
• May need to climb and maintain balance on steel or wood framework, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds

Work Environment

• Outdoor construction work year-round
• Exposure to heat, cold, and other weather conditions
• Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work
