Associate Field Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Support a designated service territory
• Repair and deliver Stryker equipment, focusing on Transport solutions
• Work with stretchers, transport chairs, bed frames, and temperature management systems
• Perform quality control checks and preventative maintenance
• Complete global hold repairs and wireless upgrades
• Use computer software for documentation, parts ordering, and accessing training materials
• Provide customer etiquette in support of the sales team
• Promote equipment and service usage by establishing and maintaining customer relationships
• Work mostly independently while collaborating with teammates across the business
• Assist with Field Service projects and initiatives
• Maintain Field Service metrics, including hours and overtime accountability, inventory accuracy, and documentation cadence
• Travel approximately 30%

• High School diploma
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver license in the state of residence with a good driving record
• Willingness and ability to work an extended work week, including nights and weekends at times
• Basic electronic and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; lift 75–80 pounds unassisted
• Ability to perform prolonged periods of stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, sitting, standing, and/or crawling
• Eye, hand, and foot coordination; ability to grasp by hand
• Ability to meet visual and auditory discrimination, memory, reading, and memory-retention demands

Demonstrates proficiency in repairing and delivering Stryker equipment, particularly Transport solutions, while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring quality control. Capable of performing preventative maintenance and managing Field Service metrics effectively.
