Field Technician

Role Description The Field Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Worth, TX. This position is responsible for installing and maintaining pavement markings and decorative coatings, including layout, surface preparation, application, and cleanup.

Daily tasks include operating striping and coating equipment, handling materials and tools, and assisting with setup and takedown at job sites. The Field Technician will follow safety protocols, traffic control procedures, and quality standards while working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

The role also involves communicating with team members and supervisors, documenting work performed, and supporting the installation and service of parking management systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical skills in operating pavement striping machines, sprayers, and related tools, with the ability to perform basic equipment checks and maintenance.
• Experience or aptitude in construction, facilities, or field service work, including measuring, marking layouts, and working with concrete or asphalt surfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, ensuring accurate striping, markings, and coatings that meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, use personal protective equipment, and work around traffic with proper awareness and compliance with regulations.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift materials, and work outdoors for extended periods, including in heat, cold, or inclement weather.
• Reliable transportation to Fort Worth, TX job sites and flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on project needs.
• Clear communication skills to collaborate with crew members, supervisors, and occasionally interact with customers on-site.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in striping, coatings, or parking systems is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn company processes, equipment operation, and parking management system installations through on-the-job training.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred; eligibility to operate company vehicles and equipment as needed.
