Experienced Industrial Scaffold Builder

UIG is seeking experienced Industrial Scaffold Builders for immediate project needs. Candidates must have at least 2 years of hands-on industrial scaffolding experience and be capable of working with limited supervision.

What You’ll Do:

Erect, modify, maintain, and dismantle industrial scaffolding systems.

Work with scaffold systems including tube and clamp, pin lock, ring lock, and similar systems.

Inspect scaffold components and identify damaged or unsafe equipment.

Assist with planning scaffold setups for industrial projects.

Adjust scaffold configurations based on field and site conditions.

Use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and fall protection systems.

Support and guide less-experienced scaffold builders when needed.

Follow 100% tie-off and all company and site safety requirements.

Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of industrial scaffolding experience.

Hands-on experience erecting and dismantling industrial scaffold systems.

Knowledge of tube and clamp, pin lock, ring lock, or comparable scaffold systems.

Understanding of scaffold load capacities and safe-work practices.

Experience with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and fall protection.

Ability to independently recognize and resolve common scaffold installation issues.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb, bend, and work at elevated heights for extended periods.

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.Current fall protection training.

Experience mentoring helpers or less-experienced scaffold builders.

This position is intended for experienced scaffold builders who can step onto an industrial project and contribute immediately.
