Reporting to the Fort Worth Division Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related equipment issues on production and converting machinery.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair facility utility systems, including boilers, steam generation equipment, condensate return systems, and steam distribution networks.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain building systems and support facility improvement projects as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, making safety the highest priority in every task performed.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and plant performance goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, technical diploma, or equivalent practical experience required.
• Two (2) or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience working with manufacturing equipment, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and steam systems.
• Knowledge of boiler operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills required.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safe work practices.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.
