Senior Backend Engineer Fort Worth, TX

Full-time, Monday – Friday (9-80 work schedule, every other Friday off)

Position Overview:

We’re looking for a backend engineer to support Fleet Space, a cloud-based aviation maintenance platform built with Spring Boot and Mongo

DB. This role involves developing modular APIs, mapping aviation data, and supporting scalable, containerized deployments in Azure.

Qualifications:

• Spring Boot for API routing and service logic.
• Mongo
  
  DB (document-based) for storing aviation maintenance data.
• DTO mapping using Map Struct or equivalent.
• Modular code design for scalable and repurposable features
• REST API development with Swagger documentation.
• Docker for containerization and environment consistency.
• Experience working in an Azure-hosted backend environment.
• Familiarity with asynchronous data processing patterns.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and other relevant standards, including meeting productivity standards.

Additional Information:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related) and 10+ years of backend experience.
• Must be capable of independently owning, building, and refining modular backend components with minimal direction.
