We are Lockheed Martin You will be a Software Engineer for the RTIP team (Real Time Integrated Planner). RTIP is a reusable library of models, tools, and algorithms that optimizes all aspects of military manned and unmanned aircraft missions. Essentially RTIP generates the routes aircraft fly. You will develop C++ software libraries and suites of tools, models, and algorithms to support mission planning needs.

As the Software Engineer for the RTIP team your responsibilities will include:

• Full software lifecycle development to support ground station development for manned and unmanned systems.

• Generate requirements, system and software design and implementation

• Create new capabilities and software for ground stations and air vehicles

• Resolving change requests and action requests as the software is updated, tested, and integrated.

• Participating in integration activities that will include a multitude of host systems, such as live assets of varying capability and structure, simulated systems, and laboratory environments that include integrated simulations, physical hardware, and system simulations. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in a relevant field of study; or equivalent experience

• Experience with C++

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
