Job DescriptionThis position is for a Software Engineer within the MFC division. You will join a network of software professionals working on cutting-edge technologies across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities include solving complex challenges related to:
- Aircraft flight command and control
- Air traffic control
- Healthcare
- Homeland defense
You will work with technologies such as embedded systems and desktop applications, with opportunities to engage in multiple programs through a matrix engineering structure.
Specific Responsibilities- Develop and maintain embedded and desktop software applications using C/C++
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Develop software for embedded multi-core systems
- Create desktop applications for sensor emulation and countermeasures
- Design GUI interfaces for data and user display
- Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout development
- Experience with Linux OS and internships
- Strong understanding of software configuration management
- Proficiency in full software lifecycle development
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with Agile practices
- Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with a focus on science and math
