You will be the Software Engineer, Simulation Sr. Stf for the Simulation & Systems Labs (SSL) which is responsible for... What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineer, Simulation Sr. Stf you will be responsible for integration and troubleshooting of SSS software products in hardware-in-the-loop and man-in-the-loop lab environments. Our team designs, develops, integrates, simulates, analyzes, deploys, and flight tests leading-edge systems that enable warfighters to dominate globally.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Develop and integrate software for distributed, real-time simulation systems.
* Perform integration and testing of SSS software in HIL and MIL environments.
* Apply simulation software engineering principles and reuse existing code bases.
* Support digital transformation initiatives through advanced software practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile Dev Sec Ops processes. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with simulation software development & integration
• Software Development Experience using C++
• Experience developing software on Linux Operating Systems.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical Field (STEM)
Desired
Skills:
• Experience leading software development teams.
• Experience with F35 Simulation products to include VSim, JADE, and LIDS
• Experience with Real-time simulation software development & integration
• Experience developing software on Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA)/Object-Oriented Design (OOD) techniques.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as Version One and Jira
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
• Experience with automated testing
• An extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation
• Active F-35 program access
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
