Position: AI systems engineer with machine learning expertise

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficient in JavaScript or Type Script
  • Experienced with Angular, React, or Node
  • Strong knowledge of Git version control
  • Familiar with Dev Ops tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Git Lab, or Jenkins
  • Holds a Secret Security Clearance
  • Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred
  • Knowledge of communication protocols, ideally REST or gRPC
  • Experience with messaging protocols like Kafka, Active

    MQ, or ZeroMQ
  • Programming experience in Rust, Go, Java, or Node
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven Development practices
  • Experience in software orchestration and Git Ops workflows
  • Background in developing microservices
  • Knowledge of defense mission systems
  • Experience in real-time embedded software development
  • Expertise in hardware-accelerated computing (e.g., CUDA, Intel oneAPI)
  • Experience with model deployment software like NVIDIA TensorRT
  • Ability to deploy AI-enabled systems across various environments
  • Familiarity with high-performance computing
  • Experience interfacing with databases such as SQL or MongoDB
  • Leadership experience in mentoring engineers or small teams
  • Knowledge of transitioning software from prototype to production
  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Develop software applications that leverage Artificial Intelligence capabilities for our clients
  • Involved in all stages of the system development lifecycle from generating requirements to flight testing
  • Execute a variety of activities including proofs of concept, prototype development, and production transition
  • Apply object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms to solve challenging problems
  • Utilize concurrency techniques and have familiarity with I/O systems
  • Assume the role of technical lead and guide junior engineers as necessary
