Who You AreAs a software engineer you will serve as a software developer for F-35 Pilot Systems Software (PSSW), Multi-Function Display (MFD), and Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) Teams. In this role you will be expected to lead in the design, development, test and integration of real-time, embedded display software for TR3 and TR2 hardware. This software will be developed in C++ and OpenGL using an agile methodology.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and an Interim Secret clearance to start.

A level 3 employee typically has 6 - 9 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelors degree or above required within Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related major.
- C++ experience
- Python experience
- Unix/Linux experience
- Experience with large real time embedded software development
- Agile/Scrum Development experience
- Embedded display experience
- Experience with JSF architecture
- Experience with test automation
- Complete software lifecycle development process and test philosophies
- CI/CD, Pipeline
- OpenGL
- Python and/or Perl
- Atlassian Collaboration Tools
- Experience in a fast past‑paced environment in technical teams across virtual environments
- Experience or familiarity with System Integration and Test
- Team leadership experience
- Mission Systems/Avionics background
- Detail and teamwork oriented
- Experience applying design patterns in C++
- OOA/OOD/OOP
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
