Role Overview
As a software engineer you will serve as a software developer for F‑35 Pilot Systems Software (PSSW), Multi‑Function Display (MFD), and Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) teams. In this role you will be expected to lead in the design, development, test and integration of real‑time, embedded display software for TR3 and TR2 hardware. This software will be developed in C++ and OpenGL using an agile methodology.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related major
- Experience with C++
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience with large real‑time embedded software development
- Agile/Scrum development experience
- Embedded display experience
- Experience with JSF architecture
- Experience with test automation
- Complete software lifecycle development process and test philosophies
- CI/CD, Pipeline
- OpenGL
- Python and/or Perl
- Atlassian collaboration tools
- Experience in a fast paced environment in technical teams across virtual environments
- Experience or familiarity with system integration and test
- Team leadership experience
- Mission systems/Avionics background
- Detail and teamwork oriented
- Experience applying design patterns in C++
- OOA/OOD/OOP
Work schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
