Senior Backend Engineer

• Salary: $40 - $60 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Full-time, Monday – Friday (9/80 schedule with every other Friday off)

Technology focused company seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to support a cloud based operations and maintenance platform within a highly regulated environment. This role will focus heavily on backend development, API design, and scalable cloud hosted applications.

• Build and maintain backend services using Java/Spring Boot
• Develop modular APIs and scalable backend components
• Work with Mongo
  
  DB/document based database structures
• Support REST APIs and Swagger documentation
• Contribute to containerized deployments using Docker
• Support Azure hosted backend environments
• Work with asynchronous processing patterns and scalable application design
• Operate independently with minimal oversight

• Strong backend engineering experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Mongo
  
  DB experience strongly preferred
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services
• Docker/containerization experience
• Cloud experience, ideally Azure
• Experience designing modular and scalable applications
• 10+ years of backend development experience preferred
• U.S. Citizenship required
