Senior Software Engineer (Gen AI)
Location:
Coppell, TX – Hybrid role, In‑Office presence required. Candidates must relocate if not local.
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of Generative AI solutions at Blue Yonder. You will work closely with researchers, product managers, and other engineers to transform state‑of‑the‑art AI models into reliable, scalable, and user‑friendly products.
Responsibilities- Develop and optimize AI inference systems for large language models and multimodal AI.
- Build robust APIs and services that power AI‑driven features for supply chain management applications.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for model training and evaluation.
- Create developer tools and frameworks that enable internal teams to leverage AI capabilities.
- Contribute to model fine‑tuning, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and execute product roadmaps.
- Optimize high‑performance, low‑latency systems (e.g., inference, data pipelines).
- Apply prompt engineering and AI safety/alignment techniques.
- Document code, algorithms, and methodologies for reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with the rapidly evolving generative‑AI landscape.
- Languages & Tools:
Python, Node.js, React.js, Git Hub Actions, Ansible, Docker, etc. - Frameworks:
Tensor Flow, PyTorch, JAX. - Cloud: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, Virtual Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD).
- Platforms:
Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, No
SQL, RDBMS, Snowflake. - CI/CD & Testing:
Git Hub, Codacy, Black Duck Hub, Blaze Meter, Artifactory.
- Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. - Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience with focus on Python API development.
- Proficiency in Generative AI concepts, model development, and deployment.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow, JAX).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of distributed systems and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and version control.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
- Self‑driven, ownership orientation, ability to work across full stack.
- Preferred:
Experience with large‑scale datasets, Hadoop, Spark, MLOps, model serving infrastructure, open‑source contributions.
Salary range: $87,515 – $140,765 (base). Eligible for annual performance bonus or commission program.
