Engineering Manager, Simulation Software Development
Responsible for leading a team of 20‑30 software engineers developing F‑35 and ADP simulation products within the Simulation and Systems Labs (SSL). Drives digital transformation and oversees design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of simulation software and related computing systems.
What You Will Be DoingLead engineering efforts, manage talent, and ensure high‑quality delivery of simulation solutions in hardware‑in‑the‑loop and man‑in‑the‑loop environments.

Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
- Project or technical leadership experience
- Experience in software development processes
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance
- Knowledge of software licensing compliance policies and third‑party software certification procedures
- Experience in earned value management
- Expertise in simulation software and modeling
- Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and processes
- Agile development or coaching experience
- Full life‑cycle software development process leadership
- Simulation and systems integration lab experience
- Understanding of real‑time systems, computers, buses, and I/O protocols
- Software development or integration leadership experience
- Technical background suitable for SAP/SAR clearance acquisition
This position requires a secret (or higher) government security clearance and will be located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Other Important InformationOnsite full‑time:
Work will be performed at a designated Lockheed Martin facility in Fort Worth, TX.
Work schedule:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
