About the PositionCheckmarx is seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Full‑Stack Word Press Developer. In this role, you’ll own the development and optimization of our public‑facing digital properties. You’ll ensure that our website, landing pages, and portal are secure, high‑performing and aligned with our brand and demand‑generation goals.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Checkmarx’s websites to align with company branding and growth objectives.
- Build and customize themes, templates, and plugins to support our lead generation, customer education, and product awareness.
- Implement and manage secure integrations with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and delivery tools.
- Ensure all web applications follow data privacy best practices, including secure coding standards and regular vulnerability scanning.
- Optimize sites for speed, SEO, and accessibility, with a focus on enterprise‑level performance.
- Develop custom APIs or integrate external ones to support dynamic content and personalized user experiences.
- Maintain version control, staging environments, and local branches for reliable deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance, security, and integration issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field – or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Word Press developer with both front‑end and back‑end expertise.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Java script, and SQL.
- Familiarity with React, jQuery, and Bootstrap frameworks.
- Experience with Word Press APIs: REST, WP CLI, custom hooks/filters.
- Experience managing MySQL databases and optimizing queries for performance.
- Understanding of web security best practices.
