Position: Senior Software Engineer - Technical Coach (AI/ML)
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer 2 to join their team! This position is in Fort Worth, Texas. This role will support engineering excellence initiatives by coaching software teams, mentoring engineers and architects, and helping teams adopt modern engineering, Agile, and Dev Ops practices while remaining hands-on with software development. The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering fundamentals, AI/ML experience, and a passion for technical coaching and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

• Coach software teams in immersive technical coaching environments and support engineering excellence initiatives
• Evaluate products and architectures to identify opportunities for improvement and increased delivery efficiency
• Facilitate value stream mapping sessions and identify opportunities to increase flow and eliminate waste
• Serve as a subject matter expert on modern engineering, architecture, and Dev Ops practices
• Mentor engineers and architects while providing hands-on guidance and problem solving
• Lead pair programming and collaborative learning sessions to maximize team effectiveness
• Develop and implement technical coaching interventions and contribute to engineering culture improvements

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Technical coaching and mentoring experience
• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Experience with AI and Machine Learning technologies
• Strong Java and/or Python development experience
• Experience with TDD, object-oriented design patterns, refactoring, and automation
• Experience supporting Agile and Dev Ops teams and CI/CD practices

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with LLMs, CNNs, RNNs, Agentic AI, Autonomous Agents, RAG architecture, and MLOps
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Experience with Spring Boot, FastAPI, Angular, or React
• Experience with SQL and relational database design
• Experience with Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Kafka, REST APIs, or GraphQL
• Experience with test automation frameworks and performance optimization

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range:
  The approximate pay range for this position is between $65.00 and $70.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
