Software Product Lead - F35 - Level 5

Role Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions.
• Apply standards and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Collaborate with development teams to verify adherence to plans and deliver measurable business benefits.
• Deliver software products to the customer and define the future direction for software product managers.
• Interface with developers, customers, and key team members to define automation efforts, improve processes, and leverage infrastructure to enable frequent delivery with high quality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.
• Ensure software standards are met and maintain documentation and operating instructions.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience (or 14 years with a Master’s degree) in software development.
• Expert authority in software development discipline.
• Exceptional written, oral, electronic, and public communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality.
• Experience working in teams in a fast‑paced dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Agile Scrum, Jira, and standard development tools.
• Knowledge of PM‑4001 and processes used for F‑35.
• Ability to interface and communicate with customers.
• Must be a US Citizen and hold or obtain an Interim Secret clearance at start.
