Software Engineer; Modeling and Simulation - Early Career

Job Description

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Full‑Time Early Career Software Engineer (Modeling & Simulation). In this role, you will work as an integral part of the highly motivated CORE team using Agile/Scrum methodologies to support the design, development, integration and test of common simulation software infrastructure products for the Aeronautics Simulation and System Integration Labs (SSL) department.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree.
• Experience in C++ and/or Java programming.
• Familiar with object‑oriented design techniques.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; position requires a government security clearance.

• Experience using object‑oriented design techniques.
• Python programming experience.
• Familiar with Linux operating systems.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

This position requires a government security clearance and the applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance Level: Secret.
