Job Overview
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer (Ground Systems) Early Career. In this role you will design, develop, and test software applications, write and review code, and collaborate with senior developers to contribute innovative solutions across a range of projects. You must be a US citizen and the role requires a government security clearance. The position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Qualifications- Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Basic understanding of engineering processes.
- Familiarity with databases.
- Desired
Skills:- Basic knowledge of advanced programming languages such as Ruby, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Basic knowledge of development frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, or Spring.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of version control concepts, including branching, merging, and pull requests using Git.
Government security clearance is required; clearance level:
Secret.
The position is onsite full‑time. Schedule for this position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
