You will be the Technical Software Engineering Manager for the MDCX team within Skunk Works which is responsible for delivering high‑impact software solutions across cross‑functional programs.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Technical Software Engineering Manager you will be responsible for guiding a team of Software Engineers to design, build, and sustain micro‑services in C++. You will translate program objectives into actionable technical plans and serve as the bridge between technical leads and program leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Define and prioritize the team’s deliverables, ensuring timely and quality output.
- Collaborate with program leadership and cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Mentor and grow engineering talent, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Represent the team in technical and non‑technical forums, communicating status, risks, and opportunities.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time. The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
