CDL Truck Driver / Industrial Machinery Rigger
DFW Movers & Erectors, Inc. is looking for a CDL Truck Driver / Industrial Machinery Rigger to join our Fort Worth team! As a CDL Truck Driver / Industrial Machinery Rigger, you will play a vital role in moving the machines that make our world. This hands‑on position combines professional driving with skilled rigging and millwright work. Your day‑to‑day will include transporting heavy industrial machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, assisting with loading and unloading, and working as part of a crew to rig, install, and position industrial machinery at customer sites.
You’ll be expected to take pride in your equipment, maintain accurate documentation, and perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance at every step.
This role is more than just driving—it’s about teamwork, precision, and craftsmanship. You’ll work closely with other riggers, millwrights, and foremen to complete complex moves safely and on schedule. If you have experience operating trucks, forklifts, or aerial lifts and enjoy working with your hands in an industrial setting, this is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to grow your skills with a company that’s been trusted for over 45 years.

- Maintain accurate driver logs
- Keep track of paperwork needed for items hauled, ensure it is properly completed and signed when received.
- Follow all laws and regulations that apply to CDL responsibilities
- Pre & Post trip inspections, reporting issues to the GM/Fleet Safety
- Responsible for proper loading & securement of items transported on their trailer
- Keep truck and equipment clean and free from any damage
- Inspecting and preparing loads that need to be moved
- Setting, aligning and leveling heavy equipment machinery
- Maneuvering loads using heavy equipment machinery and by hand
- Ensuring compliance with federal and company safety procedures
- Communicating with the rigging and construction team
- Breaking down rigging equipment and conducting post‑rigging inspections
- Possess a current Class A CDL
- Current DOT Med Card
- Able to pass Drug screen & DOT Physical
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work at heights and in a variety of environments
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy tools and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
- Ability to operate various sized forklifts and aerial lifts
- Ability to climb steps and ladders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. regularly
- Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish job duties
