Experienced CDL A Truck Driver – $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus

Performance Food Group is looking for an experienced CDL A truck driver for a full‑time position in Fort Worth, TX. A competitive base pay of $88,000 per year plus a $10,000 sign‑on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the country’s supply chain. We deliver high‑quality products to customers in time and in good condition while building lasting relationships. The driver will operate a tractor‑trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, including local, overnight, and short‑haul movements, in accordance with DOT regulations.

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co‑workers and answer questions accurately and promptly.
• Perform all required safety checks and inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer per DOT regulations and company standards.
• Report all safety issues, hazards, and required repairs immediately.
• Follow all DOT and company safe‑driving guidelines and policies.
• Validate loading and secure freight; conduct count checks of items versus customer invoices.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Unload products, move items to designated customer storage, and execute damage‑control checks.
• Verify delivery with customer, obtain signatures, and collect cash or checks as required.
• Secure tractor, trailer, and freight at all times and maintain proper locking.
• Perform general housekeeping duties for truck, loading dock, and trailers.
• Record hours of service and enter logs in compliance with Federal DOT and state requirements.
• Complete daily paperwork and secure all equipment at end of shift.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma, GED, or state‑approved equivalent.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL‑A license and clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past three years.
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test and obtain current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to hand‑lift and operate lift gate or other equipment; handle freight ranging 10–90 lbs.
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements (if applicable).

• Base pay: $88,000 per year (after completion of training period).
• Sign‑on bonus: $10,000 (terms apply; former PFG employees within last 6 months are not eligible).
