This Position is for You
As the Aviation Service Delivery Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning jet engines with our patented foam technology. This role is physically demanding and can require lifting up to 50 lbs. We are looking for someone who can perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on company equipment, enjoys working outdoors and is hyper‑focused on following safety/compliance processes while identifying ways to innovate and provide value to our customers.
In this position you will frequently drive a vehicle, work with heavy equipment, and manage (environmentally safe) fluid waste streams. You will also be responsible for tracking and inputting data into manual and digital forms as well as maintaining records of performance. The Aviation Service Delivery Technician is a vital part of the team. It will be your responsibility to ensure we exceed the expectations of our customers as well as guaranteeing their safety for the next flight.
Specifics
- Shift Schedule – Night Shift
- Hours – 9 pm to 4 am
- Salaried Position
- Travel Requirements – 30%, average travel is approximately 1 week per month
- Night Shift Operations
- Business conducted at commercial airport
- Perform compressor and turbine washes and support activities
- Operate and maintain Aero Core equipment and vehicles for operations (inspecting & servicing equipment, etc.)
- Drive and tow large vehicles and trailers on and off the airport ramp (flight line)
- Operate equipment safely and identify anomalies
- Collect and dispose of waste streams safely
- Collect onsite data & input into forms
- Coordinate schedules for aircraft availability
- Communicate proactively and effectively with customers, teammates, and leadership
- Perform preventative and repair maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Maintain an extremely professional attitude, communication style, appearance and overall service delivery
- 4+ years of military or commercial experience in the mechanical industry (aviation experience preferred)
- Initiative, drive, and autonomy
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to pass and maintain a clear background and frequent/random drug tests
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Proven excellence in following and maintaining safety precautions while working around large commercial equipment
- Proven experience innovating processes to increase revenue, delivery times, and/or an enhanced customer experience
- Certifications relating to Aircraft Mechanics
