Applicants must have a valid driver’s license for this position. A Motor Vehicle Report may be required from the state of issuance if the state does not provide MVRs to third parties.
Texas driver’s license must be obtained to maintain eligibility to drive on behalf of Specs. Texas requires all new resident drivers to obtain a Texas license within 90 days of residing in the state.

• Maintain uniform standard, as detailed in the Employee Manual, for all worked hours.
• Maintain a clear driving record.
• Maintain safe driving practices and speeds.
• Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle.
• Move supplies and equipment when needed to ensure efficient storage space in delivery vehicle.
• Receive and verify contents of all shipments to be delivered.
• Make notes on invoices showing variances and products damaged during store deliveries.
• Return products damaged during deliveries, including TABC tax stamps.
• Maintain driver route sheet after every stop.
• Ensure compliance with standardized filing system for store-to-store transfer paperwork and pick‑ups.
• May be required to assist in unloading based on location needs.
• Receive payment for deliveries and verify amounts accurately.
• Inform manager of inventory issues or discrepancies with invoices encountered on route.
• Provide feedback to management regarding issues with delivery vans and box trucks.
• Carry out directives of management efficiently.
• Fulfill responsibilities with care and attention to detail.
• Practice teamwork and cooperation with others.
• Create and maintain strong professional relationships with our customers.
• Provide superb customer service.
• Possess time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to manage stress in a fast‑paced environment.
• Work in accordance with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA.
• Communicate with and understand team members and guests. See invoices, product, payment methods, and signage.
• Be able to use industrial machines to move full pallets that weigh up to 2400 pounds.
• Other projects or job duties assigned by management.
• Attendance and timeliness are required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

• At least 1–2 years of driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, though experience is also valued.

• Read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos.
• Communicate verbally with coworkers and guests. Bilingual is a plus but not required.

• Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals without a calculator.
• Ability to count inventory accurately.

• Responsible, reliable, and committed to excellent service.
• Patient, friendly, and outgoing.
• Self‑starter with a strong work ethic who completes assignments on time and seeks additional tasks.

• Full Time: typically 40 hours per week. Must be available to work any shift on Friday or Saturday and 80% or more of all shifts weekly.
• Part Time: up to 25 hours per week.

• Apply common sense to carry out instructions written, orally, or diagrammatically.

• Valid Class C Driver’s License

Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally with proper tools.

Ability to use an industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds is required. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work in a fun and positive environment. Must be able to drive in all types of weather. Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
