Job Description
Tarrant Roofing LLC is seeking a highly organized and dependable Vehicle Coordinator to oversee and manage our company vehicle fleet. This position is responsible for coordinating vehicle assignments, maintenance schedules, fuel card compliance, registration renewals, inspections, and ensuring all company vehicles remain safe, operational, and compliant with company policies.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and management.

- Coordinate daily management of company vehicles and fleet assets.
- Maintain vehicle records, including registrations, insurance cards, inspections, and maintenance history.
- Schedule and track preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Monitor vehicle conditions and conduct periodic fleet audits.
- Manage fuel card assignments and usage records.
- Coordinate vehicle assignments, transfers, and employee vehicle acknowledgments.
- Track and report vehicle accidents, damage, and insurance claims.
- Work with vendors, repair facilities, and dealerships to obtain estimates and schedule repairs.
- Ensure compliance with company vehicle policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventory of vehicle keys, GPS devices, toll tags, and related equipment.
- Prepare fleet reports for management regarding maintenance costs, vehicle utilization, and compliance.
- Assist with purchasing, disposing of, or replacing fleet vehicles as directed.
- Respond to vehicle-related emergencies and coordinate solutions when necessary.
- Previous fleet, transportation, automotive, logistics, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to inspect vehicles in various weather conditions.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
