Truck Driver CDL A

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Dallas, TX — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Drivers are averaging $1900+ or more per week. Top 10% of our drivers at this location make $100k+ per year.

• Paid weekly
• Hourly base pay $26.00 with $1 for every three certifications/endorsements
• Overtime paid after 40 hours
• Hours per week: 40 + hours per week
• Per diem $50 per night
• Paid travel, trained on equipment, tenure bonus $1000 each year
• Schedule Monday – Friday – must be flexible

• Deliver solo to TX, OK, AR, MA, LA, AL
• Tractor types:
  Day Cab, Sleeper, possibility 26' straight truck
• Trailer types: 48-53' flatbed, dry van, reefer, conestoga, curtainside, container
• Hazmat endorsements preferred
• Must have Real  Passport
• Equipment:
  Manual pallet jack, rollers, lift gate, Moffett; load securement – strapping, tarping, chaining

• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
• 80 hours PTO first year, start from Day 1

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle check
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within past 3 years, or 2 years within last 5 years, or 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Performs other duties as assigned
