About the RoleM&N Aviation is seeking an experienced Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to serve as the dedicated full-time mechanic for a Gulfstream G450. This position is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities for the aircraft, ensuring regulatory compliance, maximizing aircraft availability, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Gulfstream aircraft, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the professionalism to work closely with pilots, maintenance vendors, and aircraft owners in a high-expectation corporate aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary maintenance technician and aircraft caretaker for a dedicated Gulfstream G450.
- Perform and supervise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair aircraft systems including airframe, power plant, avionics, electrical, hydraulic, and environmental systems.
- Coordinate inspections, maintenance events, and vendor activities to minimize aircraft downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer requirements.
- Manage aircraft discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
- Coordinate parts procurement, inventory management, and maintenance planning.
- Monitor aircraft status and provide maintenance updates to flight operations and company leadership.
- Assist with maintenance budgeting and cost control initiatives.
- Participate in AOG (Aircraft on Ground) response activities as needed.
- Ensure the aircraft consistently meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and appearance.
Required
- Minimum 5 years of corporate aircraft maintenance experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Gulfstream maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance documentation requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical publications.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel when required.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance duties.
Preferred
- Gulfstream G450 maintenance experience.
- Gulfstream factory maintenance training.
- Inspection Authorization (IA).
- Experience utilizing CAMP, Gulfstream CMP, or similar maintenance tracking systems.
- Previous experience serving as a dedicated aircraft mechanic or lead technician.
