Dispatcher, Transportation

Trillium is seeking an experienced Dispatcher for a direct hire opportunity in the Fort Worth, TX area.

This position is responsible for coordinating daily logistics, dispatch activity, driver/vendor communication, and customer scheduling. The ideal candidate will be organized, safety-minded, customer-focused, and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

-Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly delivery and pickup schedules
-Dispatch drivers, vendors, and contractors based on route needs, timing, and cost efficiency
-Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, delivery status, site readiness, and service needs
-Monitor driver activity and update delivery schedules as needed
-Assist with route changes, scheduling conflicts, and service issues
-Create and receive purchase orders for transportation vendors
-Arrange permits, escorts, or special transportation needs when required
-Ensure required delivery, pickup, DVIR, maintenance, and safety paperwork is completed and filed
-Support DOT compliance and safety expectations within the assigned territory
-Communicate with internal teams, drivers, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time service
-Assist with general branch administrative duties as needed

Requirements:
-High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
-Minimum 2 years of related work experience
-Prior experience dispatching drivers, coordinating routes, or working in logistics preferred
-Experience supervising or directing daily assignments for employees, drivers, or vendors preferred
-Strong customer service and communication skills
-Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and follow-through

- Experience with DOT compliance, ELDs, Hours of Service, permitting, or telematics preferred
-Salesforce, CRM, or contact management system experience preferred
