What You'll Do
- Drive with Excellence:
Operate all vehicles with safety, efficiency, and courtesy. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. - Deliver Accuracy:
Verify and load orders onto customer and company vehicles with precision, ensuring every delivery meets our high standards. - Be a Yard Pro:
Assist with loading, unloading, stocking, and organizing merchandise using equipment like hand trucks and forklifts. Secure materials properly to prevent damage. - Stay Organized:
Keep accurate records and complete all required paperwork according to company policies. Report any equipment maintenance or safety issues promptly. - Respond to the Unexpected:
Report any yard incidents immediately, no matter how small. Document and submit all necessary information for swift resolution. - Go Beyond:
Be ready to step in wherever needed to support team success and drive operational efficiency.
- License to Drive: CDL License – Class A or Class B preferred.
- Experience Matters:
Previous experience in a similar role is a bonus. - Skills to Excel:
- Proficient with hand trucks, forklifts, semi-trailers, and straight trucks.
- Industry knowledge and familiarity with building materials are highly valued.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.
