Local Delivery Driver (CDL A w/Hazmat) - Fort Worth, TX

Pay: $28 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift

• Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to external and internal customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.
• Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

• Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.
• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications.
• One (1) year of prior Class A professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a clean driving record: no more than two (2) convictions, or two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last three years; or no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last three years.
• In lieu of experience, acceptance of a diploma from an accredited driving school and a minimum of one (1) year of prior driving experience within the last five (5) years.
• At least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to >125 lbs. with material handling equipment.
• Must be able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours; frequent bending required.
• Ability to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to obtain a forklift operator certification.
