Local Backhaul Driver - SYGMA​/Fort Worth

Job Summary

We are looking for talented, hard‑working individuals to join our team as CDLA Backhaul Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor‑trailer and transport double or triple loads between Sysco facilities and shuttle yards.

Build strong relationships with customers, showing a friendly and professional attitude. Become familiar with customer operations to meet their needs and expectations.

• 21+ years of age.
• Pass employment screening.
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.

• Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40–60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds.

• May be required to unload or deliver various products on an assigned route schedule.

• Most CDLA Backhaul Delivery Truck Drivers are home daily.
