Warehouse Agent

Responsibilities

• Move air cargo within designated warehouse.
• Load and unload cargo from pallets and containers.
• Build up cargo for outbound flights.
• Break down cargo from import flights.
• Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semi trucks.
• Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo.
• Transport cargo to and from aircraft driving a 3,000 lb. vehicle, using depth perception to negotiate vehicle with attached carts through congested areas.
• Read off-load sheets to determine the destination of cargo.
• During aircraft push-out and/or towing, engage in proper ground-to-cockpit communication via hand signals and voice commands, with or without sight or visual aids.

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off.
• Ability to judge distances.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
