The purpose of the Driver Trainer - DOT is to explain and enforce Department of Transportation safety rules and regulations to ensure driver performance remains in compliance with Ben

E. Keith standards.

• Manage and implement driver training programs to ensure BEK safety standards are met and maintained.
• Enforce transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with BEK safety and transportation guidelines.
• Organize and develop training materials for dissemination to driver personnel and related BEK employees.
• Perform deliveries and other related duties for BEK route drivers to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Ensure employees undergo and pass required training.
• Provide performance feedback to personnel.

• At least 2 years of route driving experience required
• Knowledge of DOT guidelines required
• Valid Texas State Class A or B CDL license required
• Basic math skills required
• Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelines
• Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new applications/proprietary software
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.

Driver safety is important to Ben

E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
