Air Cargo Supervisor

• Direct Leads and Agents within the assigned functional area
• Oversee and advise on staffing requirements
• Monitor and administer discipline/corrective action for subordinates
• Ensure customer satisfaction through daily feedback
• Act as liaison between Leads/Agents and upper management
• Proactively monitor assigned employees to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality, and employee-relations standards
• Ensure practices are administered fairly and equitably
• Retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent; six months to one-year related experience and/or a combination of education or experience
• Computer skills
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and days off
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Must be able to maintain site access and work scheduled shifts
• Must be able to follow directions and work safely
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
• Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Ability to learn and apply PC skills
• Ability to read and interpret rules, operation instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to lift 50 to 70 pounds (31.9 kg)
• Preferred: excellent interpersonal skills and prior supervisory experience
• Preferred: analytical skills and comfort with data, computation, and analytical methods
• Preferred: strong experience in a related logistics or airline role

Demonstrates strong leadership and supervisory skills while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety standards. Proficient in managing staffing requirements and effectively communicating with both employees and upper management.
