Warehouse Lead

Join our shipping and receiving team and use your previous knowledge to help guide the shipping department to success as a Lead in the department. Properly prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist logistics team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment.

• Overseeing department function sunder the supervisor
• Training/coaching employees in the department
• Training/coaching employees in the department
• Transporting material in the shipping department
• Picking and packing orders utilizing an RF scanner
• Operating stand-up reach forklift
• Ensure zero product delinquency
• Focus on continuous improvement
• Execute standard procedures
• Scheduling workflow

• 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving
• 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
• 1+ years in a lead role
• Basic computer skills

• The ability to work at a fast paceand meet rates
• The ability to ensure productivity/quality requirements are met
