Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
6-Month Temporary Assignment | $18.00 per Hour | Weekly Pay
Openwork is seeking a detail-driven Temporary Inventory Clerk to support operations at a municipal airport facility in Fort Worth. This role is ideal for someone who values organization, accuracy, and structured processes. While there is hands-on inventory work involved, the setting is primarily office-based with organized stockroom and storage responsibilities rather than a traditional warehouse environment.
This position plays an important role in maintaining accountability, traceability, and operational readiness within a regulated airport setting.
Position SummaryThe Inventory Clerk will manage incoming materials, oversee organized storage areas, track parts and supplies, and maintain accurate electronic documentation. This role requires a strong balance of physical organization and system-based recordkeeping.
Primary Responsibilities- Receiving & Stock Management: Receive and verify incoming parts, supplies, and department products. Enter received items into the inventory management system. Store parts in designated warehouse or stockroom locations. Maintain clean, labeled, and organized storage areas. Manage janitorial supplies and operational materials.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and full inventory audits. Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Ensure serialized aviation parts remain fully traceable. Generate inventory and stock reports as requested.
- Issuing & Tracking Parts: Pull parts for maintenance technicians or operations teams. Record parts issued to work orders or aircraft. Process returned or unused parts back into inventory. Track core returns and repairable components.
- Administrative & Operational Support: Maintain accurate electronic records using Excel and inventory software. Utilize basic hand tools when needed for organizing storage systems. Support documentation and compliance requirements.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (required).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in inventory control, supply coordination, or stockroom management.
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured environment.
- Experience in airport, aviation, municipal, or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with serialized parts tracking.
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Ability to lift 40–50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, and move materials throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a stockroom, warehouse, or hangar environment within an airport facility.
- 7-year criminal background search.
