Dry Warehouse Lead

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Lead to join our team. As a Warehouse Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving operations in the Dry side of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate receiving, storing and rotating of product in our warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory. Your strong leadership skills and experience will contribute to the success of our receiving operations.

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, labeling, storing, stacking, staging, and rotating of product.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on proper receiving and storing procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the receiving operations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as Stand-up Reach forklifts or rider pallet jacks as needed.
• Proactively identify and address potential safety hazards in the warehouse environment.

• At least five years of successful experience with the receiving process with increasing responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required.

• Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet departure times in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.

• At least five years of experience with the receiving, storing and rotating process.
• Proficiency with operating an Electric Rider Pallet Jack.
• Proficiency with operating a Stand-up Reach Forklift.
• Be physically capable of lifting cases up to 85 lbs repetitively.
• Understand and implement the FIFO method.
• Have strong attention to detail with accuracy in counting.
• Willingness to work in a hot, dry environment or a cold/freezer.
