About

The Role

Inventory Control Specialist – perform counts and recounts, verify inventories, and report discrepancies.

Compensation And Schedule

Hourly: $20.60
Monday – Friday (5 AM – 1:30 PM), Full‑Time, Non‑Exempt

What You Will Do
  • Operate material handling equipment (forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, etc.)
  • Perform daily safety inspections for all equipment
  • Use RF scanners, tablets, and warehouse software to collect data
  • Conduct discrepancy counts, recounts, and cycle counts as directed
  • Support other functions: case pick, restock, transfer, pulling, staging, checking
  • Maintain productivity minimums (CPH) with a sense of urgency
  • Retrieve inventory from up‑stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
  • Operate barcode scanner and warehouse software
  • Maintain a safe and clean warehouse, following leadership directions
  • Provide professional and focused service while working
  • Perform cleaning activities as required
  • Maintain a positive attitude
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • English reading and speaking ability
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment and machinery
  • Comfortable with electronic devices
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs on occasion
  • Basic math skills (count, add, subtract)
  • Forklift or cherry picker driver experience
  • Flexible with start and departure times, including overtime when needed
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Responsibility for additional duties assigned
Protective Equipment

Wear proper safety equipment (e.g., safety toe shoes, bump caps, safety vest) when required. PPE is company‑provided with a $100 stipend for safety‑toe shoes after 90 days.

Physical Demands

Stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Carry or lift up to 50 lbs, pitch, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle items with hands and arms. Requires moderate hand‑eye coordination, vision, and hearing.

Working Environment
  • Warehouse setting; conditions can vary from warm to cool
  • Moderate noise level from machines and equipment
  • High‑volume, high‑demand environment with stringent customer deadlines
  • Adaptability to changing priorities or duties and interaction with employees at all levels
