Evening Warehouse Dock Associate

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse dock associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

• Monday through Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

• $21.00 per hour
• $1.00 shift differential

• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner
• Open and close dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• May operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
• Scan freights/parts

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, provide customer service, manage multiple tasks, and organize effectively
• Flexible and excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required

• Must be able to remember and understand instructions and guidelines
• Must be able to see and verbally communicate; required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to move, stand, walk, and sit frequently; must be able to use hands to touch, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50lbs (23kg) and occasionally up to 100lbs (45kg)
