Warehouse Team Lead - Inventory Control

S&S Activewear – Fort Worth, TX

S&S Activewear is expanding and seeks an Inventory Control (IC) Team Lead to support the Receiving & IC manager/supervisor and to lead the IC team in ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

The IC Team Lead will ensure compliance of procedures, communicate goals and safety practices, and provide ongoing guidance and support to the IC team. Responsibilities include overseeing receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping operations; operating warehouse equipment; meeting KPIs; reporting discrepancies; conducting audits; training new hires; maintaining distribution center organization; and performing other duties as assigned.

Hourly: $21.89

Monday – Friday, 1st shift (Full‑time, non‑exempt)

• Work with leadership to improve processes and support the distribution center.
• Monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to meet safety, security, accuracy, and productivity standards.
• Operate required machinery such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and stock chasers.
• Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
• Report and record discrepancies, damages, shortages, or unidentified packages.
• Maintain required process and procedure audits.
• Provide customer‑service training as needed.
• Train new hires to ensure optimal productivity and quality.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the distribution center.
  
  Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and regulations.
• Contribute to a safe working environment and maintain professional conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned and cross‑train when required.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• English reading and speaking proficiency.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Comfortable using electronic devices.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs on occasion.
• Basic math skills for quick and accurate calculations.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels, and SKU information.
• Flexibility with start and departure times.
• Availability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for additional duties as assigned.

Must wear proper safety equipment as required (e.g., safety toe shoes, bump caps, safety vest). PPE is company‑provided with a $100 stipend for safety‑toe shoes after 90 days of employment if applicable.

Stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift; frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling items up to 50 lbs. Requires moderate hand‑eye coordination, near and far vision, and hearing to operate warehouse machinery.

• Warehouse setting: conditions range from warm to cool.
• Operational noise levels moderate due to machinery and equipment.
