Warehouse Material Handler

Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a permanent full‑time Warehouse Material Handler located in Fort Worth, Texas. The position offers hourly compensation of $18.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Key responsibilities include handling pallets and operating related equipment such as hammers, prybar, nail guns, grinders, saws, and forklifts.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Maintain accurate picking and packing, audit, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading trucks.
• Maintain work paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to function in a diverse work environment and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, with a good attendance record.
• Demonstrated high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work using health and safety methods.
• Availability to work flexible shifts as required.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
