What You’ll Do- First point of contact in the yard – directs customers and deliveries
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Champion a strong culture of safety throughout all warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Demonstrate dependability through consistent attendance and timely completion of work.
- Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Use warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP) to complete daily tasks.
- Keep track of ticketed materials, properly identify vehicles and persons, and obtain required legal documentation of customers.
- Assess weigh materials inbound and outbound into process area, and price tickets.
- Accurate identification of material to assign correct value.
- Ensure customer specs and contract requirements are fulfilled.
- Accurate record keeping of contract and deliveries.
- Assess by grade accurate weight of material orders and issues supplies for visitors and customers entering the yard.
- Walk‑up customer service: verify driver's license or accurate documentation & backup for materials sold.
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- At least 2 years of experience in a storeroom or warehouse environment.
- Understanding of inventory control systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ability and willingness to learn all aspects of storeroom operations.
- High School Diploma or GED required
