Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist
The Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for loading and unloading merchandise from delivery and customer trucks and safely moving material within the warehouse by carrying, lifting, and safely operating hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment. The Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist ensures that customers get their materials so building can continue. The Warehouse Fulfillment Specialist are expected to establish a rapport with our customers and vendor partners.
Responsibilities:
- Be strong, be tough
- Help unload and load freight or customer trucks in a safe manner
- Receive and sort
- Operate a forklift or pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Separate Special Orders from delivery and process according to store policy
- Help maintain strict organization in the backroom
- Ensure all inbound merchandise is checked in per store procedures
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Always have a customer-first mentality
Qualifications:
- Willingness to gain a vast knowledge of building materials
- Experience in a wholesale/retail environment preferred
- Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
