Warehouse Material Handler
The Warehouse Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting repair and test operations by ensuring the accurate movement, storage, and handling of electronic equipment and materials within a clean, climate-controlled facility. This position helps maintain smooth production flow, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is not a retail pick-and-pack warehouse; the role requires strong attention to detail, careful product handling, and consistent compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and quality procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, stage, and move inbound and outbound materials throughout the facility in an accurate and timely manner
- Accurately pull, deliver, and transfer products to production, test, and repair areas to support ongoing operations
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and other warehouse tools; use forklifts if qualified
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or internal systems
- Pick, pack, and prepare units and materials for shipment according to customer specifications and internal quality standards
- Follow ESD, safety, and quality procedures at all times to protect electronic equipment and maintain a controlled environment
- Perform basic inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to support inventory accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following 5S standards and housekeeping expectations
- Support production and repair teams by ensuring materials, components, and equipment are available when needed
- Assist with general production, shipping and receiving, unloading, and warehouse packing activities as required
- Handle packaging, order picking, and general labor tasks to support daily operational demands
- Troubleshoot basic issues related to materials, equipment, or workflow and escalate problems when needed
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, or manuals when handling equipment or supporting repair operations
- Perform other duties as assigned based on operational priorities and business needs
