Role
Summary:
The RDC Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the accurate, safe, and efficient picking, loading and unloading of tires for Tirehub transfers, cycle counting and inventory control activities, and general warehouse support to ensure timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
This position reports to Leader, Warehouse Systems & Operations.

Role Specifics:
- Loads, unloads, inspects, and verifies tire shipments to and from Tire Hub transport vehicles.
- Picks, stages, and prepares customer orders using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Operates warehouse equipment, including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, in accordance with safety procedures and certification requirements.
- Performs cycle counts and supports annual physical inventory activities to maintain accuracy.
- Properly stacks, secures, and organizes tires on pallets, while fulfilling TLC and will call orders.
- Reports damaged products, inventory discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns promptly.
- Follows all quality, inventory control, and operational procedures.
- Completes all required training, including classroom, hands-on, or computer-based learning and maintain any required operator certifications.
- Maintains compliance to Tire Hub policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Completes additional tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Senior Leadership, as requested.

Education/
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience preferred, ideally involving tires or heavy, palletized goods.
- Prior experience operating forklifts, order pickers, or similar warehouse equipment preferred.
- Valid equipment certifications are preferred or the ability to maintain required certifications.
- Basic math, inventory counting, and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to read labels, bin locations, work instructions, and inventory documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push and pull tires up to 50+ lbs. on a regular basis, with heavier loads using appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including warehouse, dock, and outdoor settings.
- Commitment to following all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, safe lifting techniques, lockout/tagout procedures, and site‑specific safety protocols.
